  • Jen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified EMDR Therapy clinician, dedicated to supporting individuals and families on their journey toward well-being. Life presents various challenges, and seeking support is a courageous step. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties, I’m here to provide a compassionate and safe space tailored to your unique needs. I have been providing mental health therapy for children, adolescents, and adults in the Atlanta area since 2009.

  • My therapy practice is rooted in the paradigms of attachment, interpersonal neurobiology, and mindfulness-based psychotherapy. I believe in the healing power of laughter, playfulness, movement, and the expressive arts. I specialize in working with youth, families, and systems impacted by trauma, particularly complex developmental trauma, and complex PTSD. I integrate principles of trauma-informed care into all services, ensuring a focus on safety, trust, collaboration, empowerment, and cultural sensitivity.

  • Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but I’m here to make the process as welcoming as possible. Reach out via phone at 678-871-6296 or email at jenpackard@jjppsychotherapy.com. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your path toward healing and growth.

I am passionate about helping youth, adults and families navigate life's complexities. My therapy practice honors the diversity of human beings and does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, age, religion, ability, marital status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. I am an LGBTQI+ ally and advocate, feminist, and antiracist.

I am a lifelong learner. I value curiosity, openness, and the simple joys of life. I practice yoga, mindfulness, meditation, and pranayama (breath regulation). I enjoy swimming, gardening, going for walks, reading, and living an artful life. I’m a fan of living room dancing, The Golden Girls, and ginger beer
